Parents are invited to join us for an informative seminar concerning assessments that students take each school year and to gain a deeper understanding of how student assessment results are used to guide classroom instruction and school planning. At the seminar parents will additionally receive a detailed overview of our school’s performance on Kentucky’s Performance Rating for Educational Progress (K-PREP) tests and will have an opportunity to ask questions. We will review how they were calculated, changes to the accountability system during this transition year and planned changes for the coming year. To accommodate parent schedules, an afternoon seminar was held on November 14th and an evening seminar is being held on November 20th. We hope you make plans to join us for the following session:
- Monday, November 20th from 6:00-6:45 p.m. in the Library Classroom
The same information is being covered at each session. We hope hosting multiple offerings is helpful to accommodating varying parent schedules.
