C.C. Payne Is Coming To Anchorage School March 15

Kentucky Book Award author, C.C. Payne, will be presenting two educational and entertaining programs for our 3rd-5th graders and 6th-8th graders.  C.C. will also lead two different “Parent and Student Book Clubs” during her day at our school. Order forms for the books are available in the library and with the classroom teachers.

***5th-6th Grade Book Club:  The Thing About Leftovers “Fizzy is a good Southern girl who just wants to be perfect. And win the Southern Living cook-off. The being perfect part is hard though, since her parents’ divorced and everything in her life has changed….”

This lunch time book club opportunity will take place in the library from 11:10-11:55.***

***3rd-4th Grade Book Club:  SOMETHING TO SING ABOUT  “Jamie Jo’s fear of bees has been not much more than an annoyance for the Morgan family — that is until the summer their church explodes. …” This dessert book club event will take place in the library from 12:15-1:00.***

Reservations for these events will be taken after our February Break.
