Come Celebrate the Holiday Season!

Get into the holiday spirit as Anchorage Public School celebrates the 39th Annual Christmas in Anchorage.  Guests will enjoy festivities ranging from Breakfast with Santa to the fabulous holiday boutique.  This important community event is sponsored by the Anchorage Parent Teacher Association and proceeds support enrichment programs at the schoolPLEASE NOTE THAT ALL RESERVATIONS WILL BE ONLINE ONLY THIS YEAR. Please submit your RSVP by  Friday, December 6 so the elves can buy all their supplies!

Thursday, December 12 – Holiday Kick-Off Party at the Sublett Home, 11406 Ridge Road from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm:

Come help the APTA holiday elves kick-off Christmas in Anchorage. Admission is a $50/person donation to the Anchorage Parent Teacher Association.  Invitations will be arriving at your homes soon.  Please RSVP using cards from the mailing or use the link

Saturday, December 14 – Visit the school between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm to enjoy all these Anchorage traditions:

Holiday Boutique – open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Breakfast with Santa – Seatings at 8:00 am or 10:00 am. Make your reservations now using the attached form. Cost is $10 and RSVP here

Reindeer Ranch – Enjoy hot beverages, pastries, and lunch items from Gumby’s Custom Catering. In the spirit of the season, Gumby’s has graciously agreed to donate 20% of all food sales to the APTA.

Holiday Concert – One concert this year! Kindergarten – 6th grade perform from 9:00 am – 10:00 am.

Frosty’s Jolly Fun Zone – While the adults are shopping, the kids can have their own fun! Secure your spot here for the following activities:

  • Candy Cane Corner Kids Shop
  • Storytime and Crafts with Mrs. Claus

North Pole Bakery
The North Pole Bakery is one of the most cherished and successful parts of Christmas in Anchorage. This school -wide bake sale features some of the most fabulous treats and raises big dough for our little ones. To stock the bakery we ask each family to:

  • Send in at least one baked good item per child
  • Drop them off Friday, December 13th in morning or afternoon carpool
  • Wrap all treats -marking what the treats are or adding a recipe card
  • Please list ingredients for those that need allergy-friendly or gluten and nut-free items

If you are more interested in baking than presentation we can help! For $5.00 per item our pretty committee will do the work for you and package your goodies like a pro.
