The Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA) is a 2-day experiential learning conference in which students participate directly in simulated international diplomacy. KUNA offers students the opportunity to experience the richness of cultures from around the world, develop empathy, and hone their critical thinking skills while engaging with a wide variety of perspectives and global issues.
KUNA Meeting Dates
All practices 3-4:15 pm in the auditorium. Masks are required at all times. Pickup will be in the back carpool lot.

The cost to join and participate in KUNA: $100
This includes YMCA conference and conference preparation and materials, Student Y membership, two lunch meals, and advisor stipend.
Please have all money for KUNA turned in to Ms. Fisher by February 1 (checks payable to Anchorage School, or pay via CheddarUp https://7-8-KUNA-Registration-Fee.cheddarup.com).
Country Research Guide (on our Google Classroom) needs to be completed and turned in on Google Classroom by February 8th. If this is NOT filled out and turned in, students will NOT be allowed to attend KUNA. We need to make sure you are fully prepared to attend and this is a requirement for the conference.
In order to participate in the KUNA conference, students must have acceptable grades (ABC) and no missing assignments. Students must also not have administrative referrals for behavior.

Detailed agenda coming soon! A Sample KYA Agenda has been provided on our Google Classroom page. This is a school-approved excused-absence virtual conference. Students will be attending and participating in the conference virtually from home. Students are responsible for any make-up work.
