Anchorage Lacrosse

The mission of the organization is to introduce youth to the sport and develop their lacrosse skills, while fostering an inclusive environment where all community children are welcome, regardless of experience or ability. Anchorage Community Lacrosse offers numerous opportunities for children to try the sport and to be involved throughout the year: fall, winter, and spring.  Teams are composed of children based on grade in school (3/4 grade co-ed, 5/6 grade boys, 7/8 grade boys).  Fall and winter lacrosse are played indoors, with one game per week (typically on Sundays).  Spring lacrosse is played on an outdoor field, with at least one game and numerous practices (at a minimum 2) per week.  Therefore, the time commitment is minimal in the fall and is more substantial in the spring.  Anchorage Community Lacrosse plays in the KLSC league based out of King Louie Sports Complex on English Station Rd, where all games (indoor and outdoor) are located.  Numerous public and private schools from around the Louisville area compete in the King Louie based-league, which makes it both fun and competitive!  Please find more information here:  or email
