Anchorage Chess Club
Founded in 2007, the Anchorage Chess Club is open to all students grades K-8. No experience is needed. Chess Club is a fun way for beginners to learn chess and advanced players to improve their skills.
Lessons are held Fridays from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. Students may also compete in scholastic chess tournaments for individual and team recognition, typically in the form of trophies. These optional tournaments are held at local as well as state and national levels.
The club is coached by chess master Emir Sefo . A full-time, professional instructor, Mr. Sefo teaches at several local schools. His teams have won numerous state and national honors.

Anchorage Children’s Theatre
Founded in 1948 the mission of Anchorage Children’s Theatre is to provide a comprehensive theatre program and creative dramatic experience in all aspects of theatre production for children in grades 1 – 8. Through annual training workshops in acting and technical theatre skills and our annual community productions, we emphasize teamwork as well as individual skills and character development.

Boy Scout Troop 110
Boy Scout Troop 110 is led by Scoutmaster Tim Adams is for boys in 6th grade up to those who are 18 years old. Meetings are held bi-weekly at Anchorage Presbyterian Church. Activities include two camping trips per year as well as hiking, canoeing, and white water rafting. One highlight of the year is attending a one week summer camp at Bernheim Forest.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
The Anchorage Fellowship of Christian Athletes welcomes all Middle School students who want to represent Christ with honor as they use their talents and abilities in athletic competition, fan support, exercise and play. Our meetings are most Fridays from 7:20 am to 7:50 am in the Small Gym, and include games, donuts and a devotional. Guest athletes from our community are also invited regularly.
