Anchorage Parent Teacher Association (APTA)

Anchorage School has been part of the Anchorage community for over 100 years. It has a long-standing reputation and history for providing Anchorage families quality education with a small-town feel. The Anchorage Parent Teacher Association (APTA) is also an important part of the Anchorage School community. The many programs developed and administered by the APTA have had overwhelming success through the years and could not have been accomplished without the amazing parents of our students.

If you have any interest in joining the APTA as a member and volunteer, we would love to have you be a part of an incredible legacy of service. Anchorage consistently leads in the state with over 9,000 volunteer hours a year and a strong PTA membership. It is a great way to get to know your neighbors, your children’s classmates and APS staff members.

Thank you for your continued support of Anchorage Public School and the APTA.  If you have any ideas or suggestions on how the APTA can better support the school and the Anchorage community, please us know.
